Cogito Group panelist at AIIA Summit

Cogito Group is proud to be a sponsor of Australian Information Industry Association’s (AIIA) Navigating Privacy and Security Summit to be held on 8 March 2016 in Canberra.

The Summit is bringing innovative ICT industry players together with State and Federal Government representatives. The Summit will facilitate important dialogue on how to ensure Australia is cyber-secure across all sectors. To reflect the increasing intensity of global, digital disruption AIIA’s 2016 Summit will examine privacy and security in the digital environment from an economic and social – rather than simply a technological perspective.

As part of the Summit Richard Brown, Managing Director of Cogito Group will be a panelist in a discussion on “Privacy, security and identity in an ‘always on’ world”. Richard will be joined by Rachel Dixon, Head of Identity, Digital Transformation Office and Andrew Rice, Assistant Secretary, Cyber and Identity Security Policy, Attorney General’s Department. Professor Louis de Koker, Program Lead: Law and Policy, D2D CRC will be the panelist moderator.

Richard Brown was recently interviewed ahead of the 2016 AIIA Navigating Privacy and Security Summit, about the risks and responsibilities surrounding cyber security in public and private sectors. Read the interview here.
